Now that I have acquired a balloon I have been tossing around a variety of names... which got me wondering why balloonists name their balloons what they do. So what is the story of your balloon and it's name?
Kay-Sara. Pronounced as in the song, "Que-sera, sera. Means whatever will be, will be." By Doris Day. My daughters names are Kailey (Kay) and Sara. My next balloon will be "Sky Nymph"
I don't have my own balloon yet, but will tell you about my fathers balloon (He's not on the monkey yet). It is named Phobia's Delight. Used as just a slight play on words as phobia means fear and our last name is Fear. So the balloon is Fear's delight as it is a delight to fly.
When I do get my balloon I plan on using the same sort of word play, just haven't really figured out what yet.
Nice! I have been trying to figure out some play on words with "free" (since the balloon was given to me free of charge) and my name, either first, last or both...
It is not easy to name a balloon appropriately... and I am open to suggestions!
Why don't you call your balloon " Free Spirit " since you got the balloon => Free, and because your Spirit and Love for ballooning => Spirit... FREE SPIRIT
Or " Free Feeling " or " Feeling Free " is maybe also e good name for your balloon :)
My balloon's name is Daydream. It was homebuilt by my dad, and it was always a dream of his to build a balloon, and this was a proof of that dream come true. In addition, ballooning is something we always find ourselves daydreaming about...so "Daydream" it was!
