what the roller for
Comment by Michael Toulson on March 7, 2009 at 1:57pm
Rollers don't dig and it was an idea from a Cameron Balloons design.
it would work fine except for landing up on landing but would be good for dragging.
i did design this when i was 14. i would likely run 15gals

oh and the landing comment. you would have turning vents and landing backwards to drag else you would crush your legs and and chariots are designed for that. thats how landings are meant to go.

WOW that looks sweet however i have two concerns with it. One is the chance of dog housing. Two and the biggest one for me is the fact that you are landing faceing the opposite way that you are going. Are going to install a mirror just to see behind you?

yes but that is how all duo chariots need to land unless caught. well you it was just a fun design. it shouldnt have a double burner but i thought it would be fun =P but yeah you would have to install something like that. not something you would fly in fast winds and places with small landing areas

Michael, I know a guy that flys a T&C duo. His tank is in the Roller instead of on the back. Runs a single 20 with a 65 envelope. The roller is great for the faster landings. He will come in sideways so he can see better on slower days. And if its a dead calm landing will land forwards.
