I am in the process if opening up a repair station in southern IL and slowly towards acquiring my own type certificates......... it is a slown process but I am sure it will be well worth it in the end.
I am addicted to ballooning and everything that goes with it....
I am the proud new owner of the American Bald Eagle balloon, the Polar Bear Balloon, and one of the old Birthday Cake Balloons... shapes bring a whole new world to ballooning that I did not know existed!!!
Yes I do, it's currently in storage and waiting to be rebuilt, the coating on the fabric is shot.

I was trained in one by Bob Zanella, who I worked for at his repair station. The new burner is wonderful. Very quiet and powerful.

It is an old Avain. It was manufactured in 1982. It was a pop top with the big vent. But, we changed it to a parachute last fall. It has a little over 100 hours.

not sure but i have a friend looking at a new balloon and just looking into different ways, Kav would price about 27g new (guess). how close are you to being balloon building certified? who are you licensed to repair?
hey im surprised you haven't done a walk-thru of the shop
thanks
definately. I'm always looking for someone new to give a hand. I'm also looking for anyone close to get a few training hours in if you know of anyone who would be interested in trading some crew help for lessons. Right after i got my student liscence i got real busy with work and had to put crewing on the back burner for a while.
