My love for flying began as a small child watching planes fly into and out of Warren County Airport on hot summer nights. I started attending the Adirondack festival in the ninties and quickly got hooked! The first balloon I crewed for was the Bully Wumpus. I am currently a student pilot and crew chief for Friend Ship Too (my son, Mark's balloon).
On Dec.10th 2008 I passed my written test for private pilot!!!!
hey, this is what it is all about!!!
Many think Ballooning is all about money to me but I let them think what they want! My actions speak louder then words!
Just looked in on your photos. Saw Mike and his bride. Hey, he is really strong looking now, not like I remembered. I love the perfect photo underneath the balloon. Who took them? Excellent timing and good eye, that photo is worth artwork. I also love the foliage. Multicolored, really nice work with the camera. I saw your photos made it to the front page as well. I am not sure I am on the monkey, rather I am on the chair reading the monkey, LOL. I always knew Mark loved Monkeys and I finally found the proof, haha, old joke revisited. I just registered so I am getting acquainted with the site a bit and reading up on things. Here is a close knit community it seems, I like the enthusiasm people have for the ballooning. I always took your words about ballooning for granted until I read Mark's blog and found it very informative and photos beautiful. I really enjoy learning about this stuff.
I want to wish you a happy birthday. I enjoy reading your two's blog and seeing the photos posted by Mark. I hope you add more photos of the ballooning and I especially like the high flight scenery views. Well done. This is cool stuff!
