Still working on my pilots lisence, dad just got his last fall, so now he can stop hogging the air time.

hmm, not sure what else to say about myself here, but i figured I should update it a bit. Still haven't written a bio for Scott's website. Probably never will.

The best way of travel, however, if you aren't in any hurry at all, if you don't care where you are going, if you don't like to use your legs, if you don't want to be annoyed at all by any choice of directions, is in a balloon. In a balloon, you can decide only when to start, and usually when to stop. The rest is left entirely to nature.

I had a great time at the festival, except for Sunday night. But I learned some stuff Sunday night anyway. Not things about flying or anything, but definitely some important things.

anyway, I have to try to think about what happened which night. I know that we flew Friday night, but I don't really remember the flight. I guess it was a good one. I drove chase. Thats all I really remember about that flight actually.

Wellsville

Wellsville was tons of fun. We made 6 out of 4 flights. The weather looked like it was gonna be terrible, and there were a few flights where the weather was sub par, but we still made all the flights. I went up once for like 20 minutes, didn't get any burner time, because it was I think Friday night... where it was a small window surrounded by a lot of rain. So Scott just flew, and I did the thing where i observed, and he talked a little and I listened.

By today, I mean yesterday, because its 12:30 now... but I haven't gone to bed yet, so it doesn't count.

It was awesome, by the way. I even did a practice landing... mine was so much better than Scott's real landing :)

Must Make Post

Got my first log book yesterday. My dad ordered it for me. So now I can officially start working towards my license. :-) So thats good. Up til now I've just crewed.

Just got done two weekends in a row of festivals. Wellsville was awesome. Didn't hardly sleep at all. Spent the nights talking and listening to bullfrogs, but the weather was perfect for the most part. Only day they didn't fly was Sunday... last flight, and everyone was okay with that.
