About Me:

I have been involved with ballooning since 1985. My wife (Tina) and I were involved as Observers for the Hot Air Jubilee in Jackson, MI. We then started chasing the local balloons every weekend. We decided we wanted to purchase our own balloon, but Tina wouldn't let me buy one until we built our house and started our family. Finally in 1993, we had everything in order and were able to purchase our first balloon.

This has been the greatest experience for my family. My kids have grown up with a wonderful extended family. My oldest daughter has been heard several times saying, "In ballooning, there is no such thing as a stranger....Just family we haven't met yet!"

If you are ever up in the TVC area, give me a call, I could use an experienced hand to fly with up here. I have a 105 and even though I lam a biug guy, the balloon feels like I would have to be shot out of the sky, very light. I also do not have much experience up here and could use the help of another aeronaut for guidance. Let me know if you are ever going to be up here. I'd love to fly with you...Randy
