- The Great Eastern Balloon Association, Inc. (GEBA) was formed in 1986 and is an association of balloon pilots, crew, and enthusiasts, formed for balloonists in the middle Atlantic states of the US. While most of our members are from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, New York and Maryland, we have members as far north as Vermont and as far south as the US Virgin Islands!

- Dawn Chase: 06/14/09. Thank-you for thinking of me. Was the year 1985 when GEBA began? At times all of my ballooning years blend together. What is sharp in my mind is early Bealeton, VA Flying Circus and early Glens Falls.
(Plus 1973 Alb. NM) and also specific people. Barbara Keith, Francis Shields, Bob Berger. Thomas Gatch. I can't immediately recall specifically "Early Geba." The nicest experience of GEBA has been the November meetings at Schneider's Restaurant. Jon and Beverly are great friends to my family and to the ballooning community. I am unsure what I would write but I will think about a story. mike fairbanks

GEBA Announces Fire Safety Seminar
The Board of the Great Eastern Balloon Association is happy to announce our Fire Safety Seminar being held on September 12, 2009 at the Monroe Public Safety Center in Stroudsburg, PA.
This seminar is $50 per person and includes lunch, with a 50% discount for GEBA members.

GEBA PJ Party!
On Saturday, Jan. 24th GEBA had it's annual awards dinner. The theme this year was a PJ Party! Almost everyone came in some form of sleep wear! Pictures are now up and can be viewed at http://kennya.fotopic.net/c1645218.html. Enjoy!
