- Ballooning fills my summer skies and adds color to my days. I work for the Battle Creek Field of Flight Air Show and Balloon Festival, and have participated in the US Nationals. My goal is to discover as much as possible, for one day I wish to launch my own balloon. My passion does not conclude there. I share my fascination for these balloons with community members and especially the youth. Not being far from the memories and experiences that once mystified me as a child, I make strides to help educate and share experiences with them to keep them interested. For they are the pilots, crew members, and even observers of tomorrow. I plan to enrich their life with the same infatuation that I carried when I was an adolescent. With luck our community of ballooning will inflate to colossal magnitudes… so we can guarantee that every blue sky will have some color for generations to come.

World Hot Air Balloon Competition Battle Creek,MI 2012
Hello ballooning community!
We are approaching the World Event coming up soon in August and we need HELP!
My name is Jeff Parker and I am part of the committee for the world championship and we are in need of CREW Members! My plea extends to anyone who loves ballooning, is a balloonist, or has/has not had experience with and around balloons! The event will run Sunday morning (19th August) morning, through Friday morning (24th August)!
