At 5:14am on November 10, 2009, Drew Egerton said…: The weekend was awesome. We flew every flight and did a glow. A couple of them were a little windy but it's no big deal for the flying area. I did two flights where I picked an intersection, actually the same one, and flew to it. It was 3.5 miles out and the first day I was about 60 ft out and the second was about 300 feet because it was so fast on the surface I was more worried about not hitting stuff. It slowed down right below tree level to an easy landing. We did some kan jam at the hotel Saturday night. Drinking really does help a lot....Sunday morning was a little rough though :-)

I flew a lot the first couple weeks of the month, but it's decided to rain for a week straight now so not much lately. I have been doing the sim a bit though...check out that new score, 9.71m! The next thing I have is probably going to be that 40th anniversary thing on the 4th.

Ken asked me to go to KY (the state..) with him but I had plans already, sucks....October is usually busy for us doing rides, so either before or after that would be best for me. Do you just do weekends? I could probably do about any Sat/Sun afternoon with pretty short notice. Do I need to bring crew? I'd like to try to get to some targets, maybe intersections or something.
