My kids are all about ballooning. They both love it. Jack, my 3 1/2 year old had flown many times and gets a bit testy if he doesnt get to fly. Ben, my 2 year old is not quite as "gung ho" but has to make sure he gives me a hug and a kiss before I launch.

We came up with the design ourselves. The envelope that I replaced (see other pictures on my page) is the design that I based it on.

Brian Burnell said… - I am currently balloon-less. For now I crew once in a blue moon and have flown about 10 times out in missouri, Iowa and once here in indiana. I have my students pilots liscence, but as soon as i got it i had to put my training on the back burner. I was going to get my hours in this last summer but with the weather on the farm and extra days at work this year i had to work it had to wait.
But give me a call if you want to get together some time or if you need anouther hand.

- Getting my commercial is on the to-do list for this year, also. Keeping in mind, it was on my to-do list for last year.. But I sure do want to keep flying balloons, and getting a commercial license will make that a whole bunch easier!
