I used to spend hours on the early ones but very few balloonists watch them so I just leave them short and simple now.
I get a lot more views from model plane video's on youtube than I ever get from ballooning.
I guess there's just not as many balloonists, and model plane pilots.
Hope you get up in a balloon one day. I would recommend being a retrieve crew for a local balloonist. Learn all you need to know, be reliable and you'll hopefully get a flight in repayment.
Get your drivers license as soon as you can and become a retrieve driver.
I love retrieving, being under every road the balloon passes over is excellent fun.

Hi, Michael
I am originally from Wayne, New Jersey. I now live in Bluffton, SC. I enjoy drawing hot air balloons. I have photos of my drawings. I did go to "Balloons Over Anderson" in Anderson, South Carolina. I did take photos from this event. I got to see the hot air balloons fly into the festival but only 16 of 25 balloons made it to the festival. "Balloons Over Anderson" was this November. There is another festival in March 2011 I hope to attend. The one in March is the "Irish Balloon Festival" in Dublin, Georgia. There's hot air balloons all over the United States. When I lived in New Jersey I would go the "Quick Check Festival of Ballooning" in Readington, New Jersey. Please reply back when you can and feel free to view my photos and comment.
