This describes Paul D deBerjeois long before he took his first photograph. In the 30 years since taking that photo, Paul has applied and refined those traits to produce some of the most striking and memorable images of the world around us.
Colorado is the perfect place for someone with Paul's sense of light and form. He specializes in capturing the joy and beauty of hot air ballooning in Colorado and beyond.
Paul is a member of the Ballooning Society of Pikes Peak, Colorado Balloon Club and the BFA. He is the editor of BSOPP's monthly newsletter - The Tetherlines. Paul is the official photographer of the Greater Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce and was recently named the official photographer of the Colorado Balloon Classic.
Paul is available to photograph your balloon event, flight, family and/or crew. He is also available to speak to your club or class on how to photograph hot air balloon events. Contact him for more information.

Its Flying Season In Colorado!
Finally! I can't wait to photograph rallies and events across Colorado, New Mexico and Utah. The schedule is packed -there's an event every other weekend.

Light, Camera Action! - Photographing Balloon Events
Question: What do you see more of at ballooning events than balloons or balloonists?
Answer: Cameras!
In that spirit, I've compiled a one-hour workshop to help people take better photos at balloon events. Its targeted to the beginning or intermediate snap-shooter or photographer using everything from a cell phone camera to a DSLR.
