- Ive been involved in ballooning since the early 80's. I am a director for the Hot Air Jubilee(HAJ) in Jackson, Michigan (www.hotairjubilee.com), I am also the special shapes coordinator for a few different events including the HAJ. I recently had to sell the sytem I was working on (Uncle Sam needed my money more then I) and currently saving my $ to purchase a new system.
I am currently a proud member of South Eastern Michigan Balloonist Association (SEMBA), In 2005 I received the SEMBA member of the year award.

Steve said… - Things are going great for me.....I'm living down in North Carolina now, not to far from Ed Ristaino. Actually he's training me to fly. Hopefully I'll be done shortly. So I hate to bring it up, by why is HAJ being cancelled? Let me know...I wanted to get back to that event in a few years. That event needs to be in Jackson...keep me posted. Maybe when I get back to Jackson we can hang out.
