No Bull

“Why did we land here?”

“We were low on fuel.”

It looked like a great landing spot then came that darned old bull. He has great big muscles, and he snorted and he slobbered. We had landed in his cow rink and this is when he really got bothered.

Great Memories

I was going through some things today in the closet and ran across a box marked Hot Air Ballooning. Inside I found newspaper clippings, parking passes, crew and pilot passes, newspaper articles, and photos; all by-gone-days and memories of my many years in ballooning. I was humored when I ran across a few newspaper clippings of a much younger, thinner me. One was me in my wedding dress flying on my wedding day.

At 7:28am on February 24, 2009, Lori B said…: I have known them for about 8 years now, I met them at our local balloon fest here in Maine and I got stuck helping Kenny with the Brazilian Clown. I should have guessed what I was in for when the red rubber clown noses raining out of the sky onto the crowd as they flew off ( I was on the chase srew in the beginning). I have done Sussex and Glens Falls with them as well, lets just say every festival yeilds another hilarious story of the Kenny and/ or Grant saga. Did you hear about the parade in Sussex last year (2008)? Or what they did to Grant in Canada to get even with him for all the years of past antics? Ask Kenny next time you see him. I still am trying to get over the feeling of coffee coming out of my nose from laughing so hard. You are right, they are the safest guys when they are flying a balloon, but when they are on the ground and have ANY time on their hands watch out. They make their own fun, I go along willingly for the adventure. Would love to meet with you, I bet we would have a lot of fun together, if we are with Ken or Grant I think that would be a certainty.
