I'm building the links page for our club's new website and wanted to add this game but it is no longer where it was listed here. Does anybody know of another source for it?

Just out of curiosity, can you provide any pictures of your unmanned hot air balloon and the set up you have?

Wow. That's a lotta people crammed in there. Did they all arrive in the 60 cars parked across the street?

It is my understanding that they still have the 300 degree red line with the MaxFlite.

Balloon Trophies

I've searched the internet with about all the patience I've got right now (about 4 minutes worth) looking for trophies with a balloon on them and came up with nothing. Just looking for something with just the right combination of classy and tacky for some awards for our local Club. Anybody have a source? Thanks!

Flying in Iowa

I will be in the Des Moines / Indianola area June 23-25 (Monday - Wednesday) with my balloon. I have an annual scheduled for Monday and would like to fly or crew up there if anyone is going to be doing anything. I've made a couple of contacts up there but would like to have more than I know what to do with. Any other suggestions on things to keep my wife and I busy in the area for a couple of days would also be appreciated. Post here, post on my page, email me, whatever. Thanks!

1st GPBC Club Flight

In an effort by myself and fellow Monkey Member (Hey Bubba - there's another name!) Brain Carlson, who has yet to name his new balloon, to revive the dying ballooning community around here we put together the first Great Plains Balloon Club Monthly Club Flight. Until this weekend Topeka has only seen 3 different balloons in it's skies this year but we were actually able to make a little spark under a few more pilots and we had 6 local balloons get together and fly this morning. A small feat in s… Continue

Hello Tony, I am more that happy to let you use this photo to help enchance the quality and entertainment value of ballooning. I must tell you I didn't take it though. I was chasing Harry and never could find him. People in the campsite he somehow landed in had to come find me !!! The pilot had breakfast while waiting for the chase to show up. Shoulda thrown the bag in the basket...

I've blogged the flight already, but I didn't add any pictures or the flight path, yet. It was an AWESOME flight. The southern part was over ridge after ridge of trees. They actually look better in the video than in real life. A little brown. As we moved north, it became more and more evident that we were going to fly right over the top of Pinnacle Mountain. We were low on fuel, so as soon as we cleared the mountain (and popped up a little to get out of a rotor coming around the mountain) we dropped quickly toward a big hay field, only to get pushed left, over a row of trees to make a steep approach onto a dam.
