- Hey everybody the "Wee" Irishman is back!!!!!!!! Just recently got a balloon to fly and have knocked the rust off of my wings. It's like riding a bike you may get a little rusty but never forget how to fly. I have loved balloons since I could walk and purchased my first balloon back in 98. I became a Private Pilot in 99 and am working towards my Commercial ticket. I am big on the competition side of things and look forward to kicking butt in tasks. I took a break due to kids, work, and money but am glad to be back.

No grills allowed at Fiesta this year.
Just got bad news the Fire Department is not allowing any sort of cooking on the field this year at balloon fiesta. No BBQ Grills, no electric grills, no cooking at all. The Fiesta Officials could not say why this rule came down but it is a Fire Department one. Not sure what is gonna happen but that will tick alot of folks off and may just cause issues. Thought I should pass this disturbing info on to all of the balloon family.
