Dan, Phil and I are coming down to Canberra for both weekends. And while on the subject of balloon events, I notice some reference to the Nationals, but have not actually heard anything definite about them happening. Can anyone enlighten me.

About the chemistry don't worry too much. I'm sure that they will have pretty good support at the Uni. Back in my other life when I was a Chemistry tutor, the mature age students always did well because if they didn't know something they asked and were motivated to do well. So yes, have a go, if you need to ask me questions that's fine although even for me it was over 20 years ago. Have fun its exciting!

I am pleased that you have joined the discussion. I hope that you continue to share your thoughts with us as you have a different perspective than most people on the list. I do believe the request not to speculate, particularly on this site, is more about the public-ness of the site. The sad fact is that the Philadelphia media did find the site, used Earl's photo from it and one reporter joined in an attempt to get some sort of information to print. I have sent your husband an email with what I know regarding the first accident. Once I know more about the most recent I will share that with you, as well. Meanwhile, please, please continue to actively participate in the safety discussion. I'm sure there are things that you do in Australia to teach various topics that we've never tried but may work quite well here in the states. I am looking forward to reading your thoughts and ideas.
