- I am an Australian based pilot. I have been ballooning for 30 years, having started at 4 years of age when my parents got into it. Having tried most aspects of the sport over the years (private, commercial, instructing, competing etc.) my true passion these days is competition flying.
In my real life I work as an implementation consultant for a web analytics company, Omniture.

A note about Spammers
So basically, if you join AM and look like you have nothing to do with ballooning (or don't appear to want to have anything to do with ballooning), you will be banned.
So if someone joins and starts talking to you and they don't appear to be a legit member... just ignore them… Continue

It is really easy to rotate your photos so they are the right way up.
Just view your photo and click on the "Rotate Photo" link until it looks correct.

I know you don't know me but hopefully you have a slight idea with some of my photos, blogs or posts I've made as well as my page. First of all, I would like to say, I love this website you created for all the balloonist around the world. I always check out this site everyday to view the photos, talk to people I otherwise would never know existed, plus I've learn a thing or two off some of the people here.
Having said that, I would like to help protect the integrity of this website by saying I totally agree with Michael on this one. Shamir Bakhsh is totally out of control. I almost never complain about kids on this website as they are the future of balloons but more and more I am getting the impression he is not on here because he likes balloons but more to spread his non-sense and solicate people for his cause. Furthermore, I have tried communicating with him and advised him to keep it balloon related and after a small back and forth, he has basically insulted me.
I don't feel anyone on this website should be subjected to this kind of non-sense, nor should they put up with the insults. I'd like to know what can be done to correct this?
Sorry to bother you with this and know that it has to be pretty bad for me to file a formal complaint about someone
