I received my private in March '07 at 20 years old. I flew a Fisher-Price "My First Balloon" Aerostar Aurora 54k for about a year and a half. I currently don't have a system but I do enjoy the opportunities I get to fly others balloons. I have my commercial pilot's license and am available for hire or instructional lessons. Email me if you're interested in either : bernyj24@yahoo.com
Thanks for the info,
Yeah, if you remember, I was at a stage where I wasn't really sure what was going to happen after I received my Private license so I was considering selling the system. Since I was getting married I wasn't sure how much flying I was going to be able to do since I wanted to place most if not all of my energy and time into my marriage. I think my wife thought that I wasn't serious about selling it, until she found me talking to another individual about prices, then SHE really persuaded me to go for the commercial, go figure. Anyway, I do have the practical standards so I'll look at that more often. Thanks for the advice. Talk to you later.
Hey BJ,
Wanted to ask your opinion. I have started to train pretty extensively now for the Commercial license and have passed the written exam. Is there anything that you would suggest me working or practicing on before I go for my practical exam in the summer?
Hey BJ. I don't really know much beyond what was in the Ballooning magazine article. I can't remember if they have a website or not. It looks absolutely cool, though, and I would love to go. Couldn't be a better way to see a new part of the world than a balloon commune. Thinking of going?
