Hey Benji: I forgot! I'm not against RACING Balloons I am VERY impressed with how they respond in competition. Although I have not flown one, but . I have seen some of the top pilots in the world flying these with great accuracy!. BUT, I think that…
Benji: Thanks for clearing this up for me! It sounds like I have some catching up when I get back in the skys! (WHICH I HOPE IS REAL SOON!!!!!) I started ballooning in 1979 when I had my first balloon ride. I got my first balloon a RAVEN RX-7 in 198…
Kevin... The computer has become as great of a tool to use in the basket as a GPS. With programs like Compe a computer is linked to your GPS so that you have a moving map, but not just a Mapsource map but the actual competition map. This allows you…

After that put Velcro on the ply and then to the laptop (or to a sleeve for the la…
Benji: My name is Kevin Stephenson, I'm from Albuquerque, New Mexico. How many pilots fly with a computer? I'm a commercial pilot that enjoys competition, although I have not flown for many years (due to a employer imposed sabatical) I look forward…
I am an extremely competitive pilot. My goal is to hopefully one day win a U.S National Championship, But what I want even more is to compete for a World Championship. To have the opportunity to compete at that level would be incredible.... I believe that I will qualify for world's in time.

Instead of ballooning I will spend the summer playing Semi-pro football for the Iowa Lightning. If any of these games are in your area come… Continue

I don't think I'm going to make it up there this year, might have an opportunity for getting it done without leaving town, and in my truck that means a lot!
