- I have been ballooning since I was 8. I was involved back in the early days of AM when I was young and beautiful. I then got a bit serious and became pres of the ABF for a while. Have since been regressing to my younger more foolish days. I have built 2 balloons in the last few years that are now my regular means to get high.

Hopping Mad
When I built my little 35k balloon back in 2004 the plan was always to have a cloudhopper style bottom end for it. Until thet could be done, I used a rubbish bin. The bin was great fun, and a crowd favourite, but it was never what I had really planned.

About Pilots......
As an aviator in flight you can do anything you want... As long as it's right.... And we'll let you know if it's right after you get down.
As a pilot only two bad things can happen to you and one of them is:
a. One day you will walk out to the aircraft knowing that it is your last flight in a Balloon
b. One day you will walk out to the aircraft not knowing that it is your last flight in a Balloon.

Marty Miller said… - Hi Adam, Thanks for the message, yes North NSW is awesome flying, best person to contact in regards to SZ's PZ's is Thomas at Byron Balloons. He has commercial flights there so there are some areas to avoid(out of courtsey). I have flown mostly out nr Casino, west of Bangalow/Byron and Lismore. Out of CTAF and nice big paddocks:-) I now live in the Swiss Alps have a 105 so not in the area at present, otherwise could of helped out! Have a 105 now with Lindstrand burners-going ot a festival next week in Flims, East Switzerland.
