Saturday, the Smithsonian Instituted Air and Space Museum held their annual BECOME A PILOT DAY. http://www.nasm.si.edu/becomeapilot/
I was invited to bring my hot air balloons down to this event. They had lots of aircraft flown into the museum for the event, including a C-17, and an Osprey, along with lots of General Aviation airplanes, gliders, hang gliders, etc. There were a few fighter jets and helicopters too.,

Trying to fly when WX cooperates...which isn't too much lately. I have flown the Chariot twice....love IT!
I've had more fun with this balloon than I could ever have dreamed of. I had a 90 appendage Aerostar and got sick of the work involved. I want something in a 77, but now that Aerostar is out of the game, what experience do you have with other systems?

I have two Aurora's, and several other balloons.
What appendage balloon did you have? I have three shapes and love them!

I've got to ask you...Where did you come up with the design of your shape? I love the Aurora, just a little too small to take passengers.
