Looking forward to a great reunion weekend at NJFEST but it looks like summer as usual in the Garden State. Seems like every year at Howiefest is either HazyHotHumid or slogging through the muck left from a week of heavy rain. This is the first time in a decade that I won't be there with a commercial balloon, and the only glowing we will be doing is on the back of the tailgate with Patron. Leaving VT at noon tomorrow for the big gig in St. Jean. I get to debut Shelley Caraway's "Pandy" in Canada. Very exciting stuff. In 23 years of ballooning, I never got to St. Jean; now I'm headed there with a bagful of shape. My Gatineau crew are coming from the west, and my NJ crew from the east. I only Shelley could be there for the fun. Don't worry, "mom", we will take plenty of video during the event.

So, when I was three, apparently I made a ladder from the dresser drawers, climbed up and ate all the orange flavored children's aspirin. I've been a little crazy ever since. The only ill effect appears to be that I have ZERO number retention. People are always asking me "what's the volume of that balloon" or "how much did you pay for this" or "How old are you?"
