- My name is Ben and I currently reside in Northeast Ohio. I am an Art teacher at Marlington Local Schools in Alliance, OH where I teach art and digital photography. I am a fairly new pilot and received my Private license in September 07. I try to fly as often as I can in between work and other activities. I hope to be commercial in the next two years and would like to get into homebuilding someday down the road.

- Ben, congrats on passing the written, that's the hard part as far as I'm concerned. About Canton, just a week or two ago I got hooked with with Greg Miller and Mark MacSkimming to fly with them for next year. They're both pretty experienced pilots and Greg has done the teams event before so they'll be carrying my rookie butt. Sorry man, I hope you can get a third together and get in too, should be fun to compete at that level! They need to do a rookie award this year!

Yea it's fun attending that many festivals but it's alot of traveling which is nice!! The Michigan Challenge is really fun festival,this year was my first time and i had a blast!! i hope you will be able to attend,go to there website sometime!! Hay good luck on your exam for comerical!! where do you get you practice exam? where do i find the materials to practice or get ready for it!!

- Hey Ben, yeah I was wondering if I'd run into you up there or not. Congrats on getting married! HOF was an awesome time. I'd definitely like to fly in it, not sure what you have to do to get an invitation though. I learned a ton from the team I was crewing on this year and it got me really excited about flying competition. I need to fly in some smaller events probably before stepping up to that level to have a chance at doing well. Planning on going in some way or another next year anyway I hope.
