Hello Drew,
I seem to recall that a Head 7(no graphics or turning vents) I work on weighs around 240 #.. maybe the weight listed dont include skirt/scoop, or is for Tarp's NexKev cables, which are much lighter than his steel cables ? I don't know...
Getting parts in a timely fashion can sometimes be an issue. I work on a few Heads, and all in all they are pretty good balloons..

- Hi Michael, I am going to need some insulated tank covers and tank heaters, where did you say you could get tank heaters for a good deal, you told me but I forgot, would home depot have something like that? I'm really excited about my rig, I'm so grateful for the recommendation, I'm very pleased ! THX..... Oh on aside note how much are you paying for propane anyway?

- Hi Michael, I met up with Dan today and got my trailer, based on your recomendation and could not be happier, we went and had lunch, and really clicked, he is a good guy and I intend to keep in touch, we are both air force vets and had a lot in common, he sure did rave about you! He told me to stay with Firefly's was his opinion, which really made a impression on me. Well I now have a balloon and trailer because of you thank you, what a good value, I will bring you the rig for annual about july or august, I've got some wicker that is broken, that needs repaired, I hope to see and talk to you soon, thanks for your advice, I'm greatful ! dennis morris

- Yes very much so, if you could find out, I'm literally standing by with the money, if the price is right .I have a bid on a new 6'-12' new v-nose with swing doors for $2400. out of jefferson city, but for that price i have to go pick it up. best deal that I've found in the area.
Those v- nose are highly sought after and areodynamic, they seem kind of hard to find , if you run into people inquirering about them, i'll tell you my source, however I'd think you could find them around OKC as well?
Yea Bill Lynch offered to sell me his for a thousand and I said O.K. ! then he had second thoughts and changed his mind. hopefully I intend to get a second 77 envelope a extra, a mildly used used one, you know less than 200 hrs, I'm thinking, the 77 is a good size, just right.
Hey Michael if I have my rig in a trailer and I put a portable heater in the basket in the winter what is the ideal temp for the tanks, I may have a cover built to really contain the heat, of course not to high is 70* to high/ what is you opinion?
Also can you do a check rides, somone suggested you might? We sure could use someone in this region for that, you know the 4 state region?

Hey bill lynch told me he had a 77 / 4.9 with a mirage for sale he said he wanted about 4k, I didn't know if you knew someone interested or wanted to flip it, you might give him a call, wish I would've known, I'm sure it is in good shape, he is very meticulious, he said the basket was out being worked on, being refurbished.... Say hi to Jose ,I'm growing fond of these fireflys kind of wished I had a extra tank, however I plan on just flying with 1 passenger and myself primarilly my 11yr old son he loves ballooning Kiman and Darlene gave him a 2hr ride and he has been hooked ever sense, later friend

- No not yet, but I'm very anxious, I've set it up and got familar with it, my wife wants me to wait until Jan 1st to start my IMC so it is easy to remember when it is due.
The only thing beside insurance is a trailer, I think I'll get a 6-12' v- nose. but I'm getting closer, I'll keep you posted, the annual ought to be real easy for you next year, I like to hire you to repair some wicker on my basket next year and what ever else you can think of.
I saw that 4.9 you had for sale, my mouth watered when I saw it, and it was a great price too.
Well Bill Lynch called me after talking to you, he was suprisingly very curious and enthusiastic about my purchase, I went down and spent the day visiting with him, We had a nice visit and kind of reconnected. he was interested in seeing me airborn, between him and or Will hopefully I can get my airtime, I will be going to rob and linda's ground school in feb. in Des Moines to get that part done unless I can pass it at the Joplin airport, which may happen, God knows I study alot, Within 6 months after the 1st of the new year I have a 6 month goal to be legal, THX 4 asking I hope all is well GODS SPEED !

- I am so upset I didn't get to come over and meet you. You were set up next to us Saturday and I took pics of your balloon and didn't even know it was you till I looked at pics that night. I crewed for Ron with Oggy. I had a blast!! How did it go for you?
