Australian Nationals practice flight
Yay! I just had my practice flight for the Nationals, and it went swimmingly. I borrowed Pat and Adrian to drive our retrieve car, so I could fly with Mizuho.
First task was at an intersection, second target was put in a field next to a road, and the third target was at the edge of the Benalla aerodrome. Just about the whole contingent of competitors was there, so we had a good competition going, even though it was just a practice flight.
It was a beautiful, clear morning, not cold at all, and we had an absolute corker of a flight. No results as yet, but Mizuho and I scored really well on all tasks.
The fields are still quite wet and muddy, and there was one vehicle which managed to get totally bogged at the airport, it took a tractor AND a troopy together to get him out.
Let's hope the great weather keeps up, if it's all like this morning, we should have a great week.
