The Carried Away For Linda Tour
I am dedicating the rest of our Festival Tour to my mother, Linda, who passed away this past Thursday after a two and a half year long battle with cancer. My mother loved to come out and watch us fly and loved seeing our pictures and videos that we took and made over the past couple of years.
The Carried Away Balloon Team will be rolling out the Carried Away For Linda Tour starting this coming weekend at the Mid Hudson Festival in Poughkeepsie, NY. The remaining tour dates are below:
7/24-7/26 Quick Chek Festival in Readington, NY
7/29-8/2 Festivente in Quebec City, Canada
8/7-8/16 International Festival of Balloons in Saint Jean sur Richelieu, Canada
9/4-9/7 Rolling Through VT in Shelbourne, VT
9/11-9/13 Lake Lauderdale Campground Festival in Cambridge, NY
9/18-9/20 Black Sheep Rally in Glens Falls, NY
9/25-9/27 Camp Waubeeka Festival in Copake, NY
10/1-10/5 Hermitage Class of 1984 25th Class Reunion in Richmond, VA
We will be telling the stories about my mother that we cherished while growing up and fly with her in the skies around the areas that we travel to.

Hi Glen!
Thank you so much. It has been a tough couple of weeks and I think about my mom all the time. Being in the balloon has been helping me to cope as well as Ellen, my kids and my wonderful friends.
Ellen and I will not be in ABQ this year I am sorry to say but we cannot wait to see you in Saint Jean!

Neil and his wife Linda will see you in Quebec City and I will fly up for the St. Jean Festival. Can't wait to visit with you and the rest of the Black Sheep. Am I to understand that you will not need that Waterbed in Albuq during the Albuquerque Fiesta? Let me know

- Mark...maybe one day you'll realized that 4 more hours isn't much of anything! The other side of PA is nice to fly, too! and some parts of NJ are ok...
