Started crewing with my best friend in HS on his aunt & uncle's balloon. That was about 1986. After spending about 15 years as crew I got my pilots license in 2002 and have logged at least 50 hours per year ever since. I think I'm a lifer :-)
Ha Ha it seems that you are channeling me or I am channeling you today! If you haven't noticed we were both typing a fairly similar response to the latest discussion just now!

I also have a question for you since you are a Cameron dealer. We are looking at talking with a local bank about getting a corporate balloon and the owner of the balloon business wants me to find out if the factory would be able to come up with a conceptual drawing of the balloon for us. I think we would have to come up with the design and send in a color grid or something, but he wants to know if they could come up with a basic concept without us doing the grids. Thanks.

Kevin, thanks for the info on that. I haven't tried to inflate it since replacing the velcro tabs. Hopefully that will help some. Really I bought the thing for the basket since it was priced pretty well. The envelope is probably too porous to try to use commercially, especially only having 3 10 gal. tanks. I wanted to upgrade it to 2 15 SS tanks but was told by the factory that only baskets newer than a certain serial number can have 15s and mine is too old. Oh well. Ultimately I will probably use it under an experimental balloon that I hope to build, possibly this winter.
