About Me:: I obtained my PPC Balloon in June 2006 at "The Lake" thanks to Paul Gibbs, Maaike and Justin Gallbraith. I am working my way to a Commercial Licence.I work in aviation as a commercial helicopter pilot but really enjoy the balloon.

I'm going to the UK for 3 months in June and I was thinking about taking some books over but I've decided it's probably a bit optimistic and I'll wait till I come home :)

Just wondering if I can pick your brains about the CPL written exams...I guess It's a little different as you have a lot of knowledge from flying your helicopters, but were there any books/websites etc that you thought were really useful? Also would be happy to purchase any study material off you if you are wanting to get rid of it.
Any luck getting a commercial instructor? I know that Steve griffin up in Brisbane is also an instructor...
