- The Festival of Balloons in Tigard is first & foremost a hot air balloon festival...one that enjoys the designation as one of the country’s fastest growing premier balloon events. Experience the early morning balloon launches and the excitement in the air as the pilots & a multitude of volunteer crew members prepare the balloons for lift-off, and the balloons’ graceful ascension into the morning sky. It's an exhilarating and remarkable experience that one and all will enjoy. Later in the day, experience the magic of Night Glow when featured balloons tether on the field beginning at dusk -- always a colossal crowd pleaser!
... but the Festival is so much more than that ...
Enjoy live entertainment on the Comcast stage; dining with one of the Festival’s varied food vendors; a cold beer or glass of wine in the Beer Garden; thrilling rides & games in the carnival fun center; viewing the classic cars at the All Classic Cruise In; or the tastes & smells of the Pacific NW BBQ Association cook-off.
The Festival also features a 5K run/walk, as well as a two-day 6v6 soccer tournament. And for those always on the lookout for a deal or unique gift, you'll enjoy shopping at a variety of arts and crafts vendors.
