At 9:32pm on May 19th, 2008, Sarah Ellis said…: Ben - you need to get your ABF instructors rating so that when impressionable (or highly attractive!) people ask you about ballooning, you can be a real Gentleman and offer to teach them to fly YOURSELF! I can't believe that you need to be told this!! And it doesn't matter if you already have a partner, you never know when you're going to need to trade up, or need to train decent crew, and if you're teaching them to fly they need to keep crewing for you... It's the perfect ballooning circle!
(Now that you have your CPL you've also got the minimum number of hours required to Instruct... so I just thought I'd ask.)
