About Me:
In 1978, while volunteering at the Walla Walla Balloon Stampede I was invited to crew. That was all it took; I have been enchanted ever since! Along the way I’ve worked as the crew coordinator for the Balloon Stampede, an observer at Nationals and worked as a crew chief of a corporate balloon for a time.

Though “real life” took me away from it for some time, twenty-nine years later I am still as twitterpaited with ballooning as I was back then and I’m thrilled to be able to come out and play again and am finally working towards my license.

Take care and be safe…

Your always welcome at my house. Shoot, I am never there, someone might as well enjoy it!

I am going to try to come to Walla Walla this next year, so hopefully we can see each other again. We are trying to put some flights together for Winter, so if anything comes of it, I will keep you posted.

Carrie

If you are planning a trip to Europe, think about coming in early August 2009. That is the next time the Mondial Ballons will take place in Metz, France. It is ten days of almost perfect flying. After that is over you can then come to the UK and do Bristol Fiesta followed by Northampton the following weekend, and on weekdays you can do all the normal tourist stuff like London, Oxford, Bath, Stratford, Stonehenge etc....

Hello TB, thanks for the welcome. I love the Seattle area and when we started a trans-america balloon/road trip in 1992, Olympia, WA was our starting point.

Many thanks to everyone for a memorable weekend in Eugene! It was great to see old friends and meet some new ones, but we all know when it comes down to it it’s all about the flying and you all looked gorgeous floating around the valley!

See you down the road …

Thanks Ms Bell. Half the balloon is missing in the pic. Flying is so much easier than trying to navigate this!
